50/50 One day Shoot Out Tourney

Play in a new event geared for players who want to tune-up their competitive singles games for the Akron Open Championships. Players have an opportunity to win cash back—50% of all entry fees will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners!


Who:Sunday July 11 - Men’s & Women’s 3.0 singles
Sunday July 18 - Men's & Women's 3.5 singles
Sunday July 25 - Men's & Women's 4.0 singles
What:Allows players a chance to play competitive matches. Non-elimination play guarantees each player three matches. Play is an 8-game pro-set with tiebreaker. A maximum of 8 players is allowed per draw (8 men and 8 women).
When:Play begins at 8:30 a.m. (approximately 3-4 hours with short break in between matches)

Play is not subject to weather—all indoor courts. Locker rooms are available.
Fees:The cost is $30/player and includes three matches and balls. Water and towels are available at Towpath.

Prize money will depend on the draw. For example, a full draw of 8 players will result in: 1st place=$60, 2nd place=$40, 3rd place=$20.


All players must have a valid login and register via GameSnake. Players must also have a valid NTRP rating in the USTA system to insure competitive fairness. Tournament Director, Dallas Aleman, reserves the right to validate the playing level of competitors. Fees must be paid in advance by credit card. Registration is first-come, first-served.
