Hi! I'm Tanyaradzwa Gombera and I am the GameSnake.com and GameSnake.com/tennis Tennis Director. As the GameSnake Tennis Director, I am committed to providing you with resources and tools to help get you out on the courts more often.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Harare, Zimbabwe and attended the University of Akron. I graduated in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/ Marketing. During my time at the University of Akron I was a member of the Women's Tennis team and was fortunate enough to have several accomplishments during my time on the team. The most significant one was being the first player since 1995 to reach more than 100 wins in the program. In addition to playing college tennis I have also competed in various junior tournaments all around Africa.

In addition to being the GameSnake tennis director, I am also currently employed at Towpath Tennis Center. Where I have been assisting with the marketing of various tennis events. I also plan to attend graduate school in 2010 at the University of Akron and pursue a Masters in Business Administration.

MY RESPONSIBILITIES

One great tool is the GameSnake.com/tennis portal that I have been developing. The GameSnake.com/tennis portal is the ONLY place on the web where you can find a listing of tennis courts in your city, the instructional programs offered, nearby tournaments, and local tennis stars. I will be working this summer to continue to develop this portal to make it as thorough as possible. Feel free to email me new information that you would like to see posted, whether it is a park, tournament, or local tennis star.

In addition, I am dedicated to helping you find people to play with. Once you start a game on GameSnake, I will do my best to make sure it is populated. Thus far this summer we have a very high success rate with GameSnake tennis listings, and it will only get better.

Lastly, I will be promoting GameSnake and recruiting new members that may not even be aware of our services. Our goal is to have 2000 tennis players in GameSnake by the end of the Summer. If you know somebody you think would be interested in GameSnake, tell them and help us grow our tennis community.
